| | Tactics Spacing on a low-post entry On a post feed from the wing, the passer will usually relocate along the perimeter, screen for or exchange with another perimeter player (split), or Laker cut middle or baseline. A Laker cut can isolate the ballhandler, but also leave him without a ballside passing option if double-teamed. Many coaches will dive the other big, which can cause spacing problems with a Laker cut, or if the passer screens then dives to the basket.
