Hoiberg pitch series
 | 1 Fred Hoiberg A pitch is a pass on a kickback, see Offence - Kentucky dribble-drive, also Dribble-drive basics. a) Pitch get 1-4 pitch (1 drives middle, 4 kicks back for a pass), 1 spaces away, 4 passes to 2 off the dribble and follows to ballscreen (roll or pop). See Offence - Billy Donovan ballscreens. |
 | 2 b) Pitch dive 4 slips a ballscreen for a pass and layup. |
 | 3 c) Pitch split 4 slips, 5 comes up to ballscreen. |
 | 4 5 rolls, 4 fills behind. |
 | 5 d) Pitch chase 4 dribbles at 2 for a backdoor. |
 | 6 e) Pitch one 4 drives it down the lane line. |
 | f) Pitch mix angle 1-4 pitch. |
 | 8 4 throws it back to 1, 5 sprints into an elbow-angle pick and roll. Greg Kampe - pitch kick fist - the same play (pitch fist - 1-4 pitch, 5 ballscreens for 4). Kentucky - 4 passes and loop cuts to the ballside wing, 5 loops up and screens to send 1 to the middle. |

 | 10 4-1 throwback, 1 makes a dribble hand-off to 3 and spaces, 5 sprints up to pick and roll. |
