| 1 5 screens for 2 as the ref hands 3 the ball, then posts, 4 screens across for 1 and comes back to the ball.
Variations - 2 uses 5 but 5 doesn't set a screen (see Overload) - 4 breaks back to the ball only if there is no inbounds pass (pressure release). Hoop Tactics - post direct - 4 and 5 screen away, 3 looks to hit 5 breaking back to the ball, 4 stays weakside, 3 inbounds to 1 who reverses the ball to 4, 5 screens for 3 cutting to the basket (floor balance), 1 screens away for 2 (see below, Special for 4). |
| 2 On an inbounds pass to 4, he looks for a high-low pass to 5, 3 cuts for a handback.
3 immediately steps inbounds on an inbounds pass to 1.

5 screens for 2 then comes back to and demands the ball, 4 steps up and towards the ball, 1 backscreens for 4 and pops, look for the lob pass to 4, or 1 stepping out for a shot if X1 helps on the backscreen.
