Screen-the-screener action

1)

1 pops out top, 2 diagonal screens for 4, then 5 screens for 2 and opens to the ball.

Variation - against a zone defence, overload the baseline, 2 goes out to the weakside corner, 4 dives to the basket weakside, 1 cuts to the ballside corner, then moves out as safety. See Inbounds - Baseline Corners (zone).

See Inbounds - Baseline Wootten Box (Box 4) - 1 can pop out as safety or go to the weakside corner to stretch the defence along the baseline.

3 inbounds then comes in opposite using a screen.

2)

5 upscreens for 4 then uses a diagonal screen from 2, who comes back to the ball if 4 goes wide, or goes to the corner if 4 comes back to the ball.

3 comes in using 5.

Variation - 2 upscreens for 1 then pops out top (Ashbury Grade 8).
