The three most important jump shot areas for a low-post player are the elbow, the foul line, and the short corner about 8 to 12 feet along the baseline.

5 starts under the basket, sprints out and shuffles with quick feet around a cone or chair at the block for a pass, then drop steps middle for a jump hook or dunk. He rebounds and passes back to coach.

5 sprints and shuffles around the chair to the short corner for a pass and shot, rebounds and passes to coach.

Repeat with a shot at the elbow, then from the foul line.

Finish the series with quick-feet action to the short corner, elbow, and foul line for one-dribble layups.

Repeat the complete series 20-30 times on each side of the floor.
