Zone offence Hurley cutters vs matchup
| 1 Bob Hurley
Very good against match-up zone. The bigs start in the short corners (attack from behind), the point guard is stationary, 5 follows the ball.
On the pass to 2, 5 gets in the post, 4 replaces on the baseline (he's a scoring threat behind the zone). |
| 2 On reversal to 1, 5 steps back with his right hand up, 2 cuts into the middle of the lane and delays for a second, 4 slides up to replace, 1 looks for a pass over the top to 5, 2 slides down.
| 3 On a pass to 3, 2 goes to the short corner (or corner, based on shooting range), 5 follows the ball.
| 4 On full reversal to the short corner, 3 cuts into the middle and delays, 4 slides baseline.
| 5 2 drags the ball up to the wing, 3 goes down and replaces in the short corner.
| 6 Continuity on a pass to 1, 2 cuts to the middle and delays, 5 steps back, 3 replaces 2.
| 7 On a throwback to 3, 5 posts, 2 goes short corner (always follow the point guard's next pass). |
