a) Outside rotation
1 passes to 2 who passes to 5 stepping out on the baseline, 2 basket cuts, 1 and 3 fill behind.
There is no post flash by 4 when the ball is on the wing. |

| 2 5 passes to 1 and cuts to the middle, the ball is reversed to 2 who uses 4's screen.

| 3 4 steps out for a pass, 2 basket cuts, 3 and 1 fill behind, 5 screens for 2 to come out the other side.

The weakside post flashes when the ball is in the air back to the point, the ballside post changes sides.

Comment - inside rotation could be used when 3 does not pass to 5 on the baseline.
