a) 3-line 3-line string shooting (YouTube)Players at the top have balls. 1 passes to 2 (or 3) who drives baseline or middle. On a baseline drive, 1 fills behind and 3 drifts to the corner, 2 passes to 3 for a shot. (Option) - 2 can pass to 1 filling behind. |

| 4 3 drives, passes to 2, who shoots, 3 exit cuts. |

| 5 2 rebounds, passes to 1, closes out, 1 drives and kicks to 3, who shoots.
3 will rebound, pass to 2 and close out, then 2 drive and kick to 1 for a shot.
Option - the rebounder can pass to either player. |

| 6 c) 4 on 0 |

| 7 4 drives and kicks to 2 for a shot, then 2 will rebound, pass, and close out. |

| 8 d) 3 on 2 5-person partner string shootingHis favourite shooting drill, it's game-like because there is defence and decision-making - drive, pass, or shoot. Defender X1 or X2 passes to an attacker and closes out, attackers can drive and kick or pass for a catch-and-shoot 3 (there are no pull-ups, mid-range shots or layups). One shot only, rotate players on each possession. (Option) - allow drives for layups, all catches outside the 3-point line, keep score (teams or individual). See Shooting - Advantage. Progression - 3 on 3 wildcat - add a third defender, no shot restrictions, but all catches must be outside the 3-point line or on a direct cut to the basket (e.g. no passes to players cutting away from the basket inside the 3-point line). See Attack/defend - 3 on 3 kickout, Defending - 3 on 3 kickout, Dick Bennett 3 on 3 close-out, Scrimmage - 4 on 4 cutters. |
