1) Swing
1 passes to 4, 5 searches across the lane, 2 gets to the right block.

Variation - Regular break - 5 screens away for 4 while 3 has the ball.

4 passes to 3, 2 backscreens for 4 then 5 screens in for 2.
UCLA - 3 dribbles middle and throws back to 2.

| 4 2) Drag
1 passes to 4, 5 searches across, 2 gets to the block

| 5 4 dribble handoffs to 1, 2 backscreens for 4 then pops out, 1 looks for the lob pass to 4.
If 1 throws back to 2, 4 button hooks in the post.

| 6 Drag Hold
1 comes off the dribble handoff, 1 throws back to 4, 2 buttonhooks in the post for a pass from 4, with no backscreen.

| 7 Drag Special
2 backscreens for 4 after the dribble handoff, 1 passes to 3, 5 circles up the lane and screens in for 2 (see Swing above).
Iverson - 5 screens in for 2, 3 runs the baseline using a screen from 4, 1 looks for 2 or 3.

1 passes to 4 and cuts to the block on the other side.

| 9 3 v-cuts for a pass from 4, 2 walks his man down and uses a stagger screen from 5 and 4.

| 11 4) Backscreen stagger
1 passes to 2 and cuts to the weakside block, 4 replaces 1.

| 12 2 passes to 4, 3 fills the top, 4 passes to 3, 1 pops out to the wing, 5 backscreens for 4.

| 13 4 posts, 3 and 5 stagger screen for 2.

| 14 5) Immediate stagger
5 runs to the weakside block, on ball reversal to 3, 1 and 4 stagger screen for 2.

1 dribble handoffs to 2, 4 dives to the block, 3 comes high.
Entry variation - Baseline stagger flare - 1 shallow cuts 2 to the top for a pass, 4 sets a wide pin-down for 3.

| 24 2 passes to 3 as 1 uses a stagger screen from 5 and 4, then 5 flarescreens for 2 (occupy the defence even more).

| 25 11) Shallow
1 passes to 2 and shallow cuts to exchange with 4.

| 26 a)
As the ball is passed back to 1, 5 walks up the lane line, 1 dribbles at 3 who backcuts then button hooks, 4 and 5 stagger screen for 2. 1 looks for 3 and 2.

| 27 b) Shallow with shuffle
2 uses 4 and 5 and shuffle cuts across the lane to post, 3 keeps going to use a 4 and 5 stagger screen.

| 28 12) Throwback
1 passes to 4, 5 searches across the lane, 1 gets to the right block.

| 29 2 replaces 1 for a pass, 1 cross-screens for 5 then uses a screen by 4 and 3.
