Double high posts
 | 1 The attacking set has two guards, two high posts, and a baseline runner. See 1-2-2 matchup vs. Duke runner (high post), 2-1-2, Zone offence - Elbows vs 1-3-1. a) The high posts are not considered a major threat, but X1 may not want to extend beyond the 3-point line to pick up the ball, or even just sink to protect the high posts. With X1 on the ball, defenders have a 1-2-2 shape, X2 and X3 pinch the elbows, X4 and X5 stay low except on a post catch. Initial matchups are - X1 has 1 - X2 has 2 - X3 has 3 - X4 has 5 - X5 has 4.  | 2 On a pass to 2, X2 closes out, X4 defends 5 diving from the high post, X1 drops to help cover the high post, 4 replaces 5, X5 comes ballside with 4. X3 sinks weakside. |

 | 4 Offence and defence recover to initial positions on a return pass to 1. |
 | 5 On a pass to 3, X3 closes out, X1 drops to cover the high post, 2 runs the baseline. X4 comes ballside. |

 | 7 On a pass to 2, X5 closes out, X4 contests 4 diving from the high post. |

 | 9 b) The high posts are considered a major threat, so X4 and X5 match up and come up high with X1 on the ball. This also allows X2 to play lower on 2. All defenders will stay matched up through the possession, with X2 guarding baseline runner 2. |

 | 11 X1 and X5 pinch the high post, X3 covers weakside. |
