Passing into the low post - 5star post feeds

Relocation on a post feed is important for a 2-guard, especially if playing with a dominant big, who will often draw a double-team, so you never want to stand in one spot.

1) Relocate

If the point guard holds, 2 probably wants to v-cut and relocate to the corner.

He wants to go opposite the way his defender turns his head, so if the point guard moves weakside to create a two-man game and X2 turns towards the baseline, 2 will jab baseline and relocate middle to an open area.

2) Cut

If 2 relocates and his defender attacks him before a pass, or doesn't know where he is, 2 cuts to the basket.

3) Split

1 dribble enters the ball to the wing.

1 makes the post feed, screens for 2 then pops (shown) or cuts to the basket.

2 must recognize where 1 is on the floor. If 1 basket cuts after screening, 2 doesn't want to get any closer to the big, so he will relocate, finding his defender's backside.
