Horns 23 3-ball
 | 1 (a) strongside Pass and UCLA cut by 1, who gets a pass from a coach on the sideline, shoots. Option - 2 passes to 1 on the UCLA cut, coach passes to 2 instead of 1. Other Horns 23 variations - pin-down zipper - 1 backscreens for 5 - 1 dribble clears 2 - 1 follows the pass to 2 for a handback. |
 | 2 Pick and pop or roll, screener 5 gets a pass from the other coach for a shot. Option - 2 can pass to 5 on the roll or popping, 2 gets a pass from coach. |
 | 3 (b) weakside 4 downscreens for 3, who will curl or fade the downscreen (see Horns 45 backdoor 3-ball). 4 then screens for 1 cutting to the corner. Coach at the swing position on the other side has two balls, passes to 3 then 4. Coach on the baseline passes to 1 in the corner. Variation - 3 can pass to 4 or 1 then get another pass to shoot. |
