a) 1 drives the elbow, jump stops, passes to 2 sliding up from the corner for a shot, and goes behind 3 who is the next shooter. 4 drives on the pass to 2.
In a game, X2 opens up to help across from the corner.
b) If 2 is a big, he stays in the corner for a pass then drives middle for a pull-up shot (progression - attack the front of the rim).
Variation - when X2 helps up, 2 stays in the corner if a shooter, 1 passes and has to cut and clear weakside (see Nets early offence).
c) 1 drives, pass fakes, then bounce passes to 2 cutting backdoor from the corner.
d) There is no line in the corner. 1 drives and kicks to 2 sliding up, then cuts to the corner.
2 drives the gap, reverse pivots and passes to 1 for a shot.
a) 1 drives middle, gets stuck, pivots and passes back to 2 going straight across behind. 2 finishes at the rim.
Progression - catch and shoot (1-2 step).
If X2 overplays in a game, 2 backcuts.
Progression - 1 passes to 2 then cuts to the ballside elbow area, 2 drives right behind the "blur" screen (coachesclipboard.net).
b) 1 forward pivots to ballscreen for 2, who takes a shot from the foul line. 1 opens to the ball.
