1)

a) 1 drives the elbow, jump stops, passes to 2 sliding up from the corner for a shot, and goes behind 3 who is the next shooter. 4 drives on the pass to 2.

In a game, X2 opens up to help across from the corner.

b) If 2 is a big, he stays in the corner for a pass then drives middle for a pull-up shot (progression - attack the front of the rim).

Variation - when X2 helps up, 2 stays in the corner if a shooter, 1 passes and has to cut and clear weakside (see Nets early offence).

2)

Progression - catch and shoot (1-2 step).

If X2 overplays in a game, 2 backcuts.

Progression - 1 passes to 2 then cuts to the ballside elbow area, 2 drives right behind the "blur" screen (coachesclipboard.net).
