 | 1 Based on the Bill Self motion entry Thumbs up. Up is on the right, down is on the left. 1 dribbles left, crosses over and dribbles right, 2 goes backdoor to the weakside, 3 lifts then curls off screens by 5 and 4 to the ballside low post (3 can bump and fade 4's screen if X3 goes under). |
 | 2 4 steps out for a pass in the sweet spot at the top, 5 pins down for 2, with his back where he wants 2 to go. 2 can curl or bump and fade. If X2 goes ballside, 5 flashes high, setting a moving screen on X2, looking for the ball. |
 | 3 4 passes to 2, 3 flashes to the ball then backscreens for 4 and steps out (Kansas or Carolina break). |
 | 4 On a pass to 3, 4 cross-screens for 5, who always goes under, step inside if defenders switch. 2 and 1 must be high and wide on the Kansas screen so their defenders can't help on the post. |
