Horns
Horns 45 overload

1 passes to 4 (or 5), cuts to the ballside wing.

Variations

- before the pass, 5 exchanges or cross-screens if 4 is overplayed or to get 4 at the other elbow (see Mavericks elbow iso quick hitter)
- 1 cuts outside looking for a hand-off or bounce pass from 4, then goes to the ballside corner, 3 fills the wing (USA offence)
- 1 can cut weakside using a flarescreen from 5 (see Russia offence).

Options

a) Isolation - 5 dives through the lane, 4 shoots or attacks the basket.

Variation - 4 makes a toss-back to 1.

b) Backdoor - 5 dives, 2 ballcuts then backcuts for a bounce pass.

3 can backcut if denied when 4 gets the pass from 1.

- 4 passes to 2 then ballscreens

2X Isolation 4

Four players are near the baseline, 4 and 5 flash to the elbows, 1 passes to 4 (or 5) and goes to the ballside wing, 5 makes a diagonal cut, 4 attacks the basket and can pass to 2 or 5 if their defenders help.
