1 advance passes to 2 and basket cuts looking for a give-and-go layup.

1 can pass to 2 and shallow cut.
Chris Oliver - 1 passes to 2 and shallow cuts to the left wing, or 1 dribbles him through and reverses the ball.
See Triano early offence, Spurs 2014.

- 1 can backcut if overplayed
- if 1 does not backcut, 4 will dribble hand-off to 2 then downscreen for 3.
If 3 doesn't have a shot it turns into a ballscreen with the trailer.
If 5 is a good shooter he can use the downscreen.
5 can go straight from the cross-screen into a pick and roll with 1.
Oliver - this can be a call, or a read if 5 goes over the screen.
Instead of going to the wing after passing to 2, 1 can run the baseline using a 3-5 stagger screen, 2 clears to the other side.
