Players work on individual ballhandling inside the arc at both ends, with at least two players always in the lanes, on a whistle, two players speed dribble from each end, finish with a layup (avoiding other players), rebound, and resume ballhandling. Different players go on the next whistle, continue.
Variations
- 3 or 4 players go from each end at the same time - an injured player leads ballhandling from inside the jump circle (or a coach at each end).
For ballhandling options, see Dribbling - Nash ballhandling, Tauer stationary, Calipari warm-up. Bill Pangos - do stationary ballhandling standing on one leg (for body balance and control), then speed it up, then close both eyes. |
